Liz has over 20 years experience in working with IT in tourism and is passionate about innovation in tourism. Liz was CEO of the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) for over ten years and was influential in its creation. Previously Liz worked with Tourism Queensland, leading their International Marketing Operations and e-Marketing departments. Today, Liz is Managing Director of Digital Coaching International – a network of experts who assist business operators through the process of digitising their marketing and business processes. Digital Coaching International is also responsible for the ongoing development and distribution of the highly successful online learning tool, the Tourism e kit which
will be relaunched as a core component of a new global online learning community, Tourism Tribe.com, in July. Liz played a key role in the design and development of Australia’s National Online Strategy for Tourism (a Tourism 2020 initiative) and has a long list of successful digital marketing innovations and implementations to her credit. These projects have spanned two decades years since the early days of Web 1.0 to today’s Semantic technology environment. Liz is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Institute of Management and holds an Advanced Diploma in Business from University of Southern Queensland.
